Obtaining Austrian citizenship

Before the application, we prepare the necessary documents together so that the rest of the procedure can be completed quickly. During this preliminary examination, I can tell you in good time where problems could arise during the procedure and which supporting documents should be organized as a precaution.

Representation during the proceedings

If the procedure takes longer than necessary, we will help you, for example because of the length of the procedure or because, in the opinion of the authorities, the requirements for the award are not met, contrary to your expectations. In these cases, I will advise you which legal remedies are available and clarify the prospects of success with you.

I will also support you in an appeal against a negative decision by the authorities and in proceedings before the administrative court.

Retaining Austrian citizenship

Many Austrians, some of whom have lived abroad for a long time, would like to take on the citizenship of their new home country. However, this would lead to the loss of the Austrian citizenship.

In order to avoid this loss, the provincial government responsible for you must approve the retention of Austrian citizenship.
